This book is an important outcome of the Indigenous Pedagogy in Teacher
Education (IPED) project that has run from 2020–2022, funded by the Joint
Committee for Nordic Research Councils in the Humanities and Social Sciences
(NOS-HS). The project brought together scholars from Umeå University
(Sweden); UiT The Arctic University of Norway (Tromsø, Norway); the Sámi
University of Applied Sciences (Kautokeino, Norway); the Sámi Archives (Inari,
Finland); and the University of Lapland (Rovaniemi, Finland).
